System of underfloor heating
Underfloor heating kit is the most economical form of heating because the entire process takes place at very low
temperature. The floor has to be heated to a temperature of 21 to 28ºC. Very
large heating surface ensures an even temperature distribution from the floor
to the ceiling. Since the peripheral blood vessels in the legs are farthest
from the heart, and the legs experience the lowest heat, floor heating systems
ensure optimal heating distribution to the human body.
Installation of underfloor heating can either be done through the additional install of environmental and sound substrates such as
ceramic, stone, or other materials that don’t collect dust and don’t retain
allergens. Warm stone or tile floor allows your child to play on the floor
without the risk of catching cold. The floor temperature is regulated directly
via a thermostat with a sensitive floor probe. Each room has its own thermostat
and you have an option to regulate an individual room temperature if it is
necessary. Underfloor heating can be installed under all types of surfaces. The
recommendation is that the system should be installed under well-conductive
materials, such as stone and ceramics.
Installing underfloor heating beneath the wooden floor is
possible, it should only take into account the fact that wood has natural
moisture and heat dries it. Underfloor heating kit is completely safe from
exploitation, and they don’t require any maintenance. In the case of a possible
failure, they require minimal intervention on the floor. Wet underfloor heating
is much cheaper and more efficient and does not require any maintenance.
The installation of underfloor heating is quick and easy.
Heating networks are made of special heating cables made into very small cross
section. Heating mats are placed directly into the adhesive under the tile or
stone covering. The mats are particularly suitable for the reconstruction of
buildings because they do not raise the floor level when installed directly
into the adhesive. Almost all types of tile adhesives that are on the market
are suitable for this type of installation.
Wet underfloor heating
When it comes to the so-called wet setup, the heating pipes
are placed directly into the concrete floor covering. Surrender heat is great
but it is necessary that the concrete additives are added to reduce an impact
of air bubbles. There are several ways you can distribute pipes, mesh lining,
studs – rails, the system rolls etc. The key to this system is that the heat
goes upward to an entire room as well as down, thus affecting the heating of
the lower room.
The heating network can serve as a base and as a
supplementary heating, or as the effect of a warm floor. This type of heating
can be used all year-round, not just during the winter.
